Round off hunting season and shoot "Hunters Class" or the regular "Compound" and Traditional" classes. 
As usual there will be a Bring and Braai after the event, including plent of our latest wild game from successful hunts.

We encourage you to order spare arrows and arrange bow setup prior to Saturday as the Forest Archery staff cannot meet a mad rush for fletching, etc during the morning.

It is hunting season and we are introducing a new "Hunters Class" to the regular "Compound" and Traditional" classes. The aim is to participate in full camo, with whatever tools you require to hunt. A full ABO support backpack is also encouraged so that you can get used to what to pack and carry on your hunt.

This class sees rule ammendments such as only one shot per target, and negative points for a wound.

Dust off the camo and join us. As usual there will be a Bring and Braai after the event.

The Scruffy Hunters bowhunting club held its first African Bowhunting Organisation (ABO) Certificate of Proficiency (COP) on Saturday.

ABO Instructor Pierre van Wyk put future hunters through their paces covering topics such as Physics, Anatomy and Philisophy... those who attended will know what I mean!
